I grew up above a disco lounge where the bass shook the floor, and people gathered over food, music, and flavor. That’s where I first learned that drinks aren’t just about what’s in the glass. They’re about connection, celebration, and ritual.
My neighborhood was a mash-up of cultures, languages, and flavors. The air was always alive with spices and something delicious simmering somewhere. That’s where my love for bold global flavors and natural ingredients began.
Cooking runs deep in my family and our kitchen was always buzzing with creativity. Food was how we connected. It’s how we celebrated, comforted, and showed love.
From My Kitchen to Yours:
Crafting Functional Beverages with Real Flavor
Fast forward a few years, and one night I tried to make a margarita with a store-bought mix. It literally glowed. I thought, we can do better than this.
Around that time, I started learning about gut health and how it tied to things like my eczema. When I looked closer at what I was drinking, I realized most options were full of sugar, chemicals, and fake ingredients. So, I started crafting my own prebiotic drinks made with real citrus, bold botanicals, and flavors inspired by the world I grew up tasting:
Citrus Lemongrass. Blood Orange Cardamom. Pineapple Rosemary Ginger. Hibiscus Orange. Spicy Mango.
I wanted drinks that made you feel as good as they tasted, so I added prebiotic fiber to support gut health and overall wellness.

What started in my kitchen turned into something bigger: a mission to create better-for-you drinks that bring people together through flavor, culture, and choice — with or without alcohol. In 2024, Ellevate proudly supported Main Street Meals, a local Rhode Island program that partners with growing food businesses to prepare delicious, high-quality dinners made from locally sourced ingredients.
Together, we helped provide hundreds of meals each week to community organizations that distribute them directly to neighbors in need.
